The lead time to supply the proposed helicopter: All offered products are in stock and can be delivered to the customer within 60 calendar days after acceptance of the contract and payment from the customer and obtaining an export license in the country where the goods are located. 3. Equipment installed on each helicopter: lx front mounted M197 20mm 3-barrelled Gatling Gun: The M197 is a lightweight short-barreled three-barrel automatic gun used with the M97 series armament subsystems on the Up-gunned AH-1S/AH-1S "Modernized"/AH-lF "Modernized" Cobras. The M197 utilizes a rotary action mechanism, contained within a fixed rotor housing, and a rotating barrel cluster. Drive power is provided by an electrically driven gun drive mechanism. The pilot/backseat can operate the M197 in the fixed or flexible mode while the gunner/front-seat can only operate the M197 in the flexible mode. The M197 automatic gun has a firing rate of 730 ± 50 spm (shots-per-minute). The capacity of the ammunition box and feed system is 750 rounds of continuously belted ammunition. 2x Side mounted 2.75inch rocket launchers. 7-pod M260 or 19-pod M261: The M260/M261 Light Weight Launcher is mounted to the ejector rack on either side of the AH-1F helicopter. The launcher consists of a Firing Connector which provides electrical power from aircraft to launcher, a Fuzing Connector which provides fuzing capabilities for accurate delivery of ordnance, Suspension Lugs which mount the rocket launcher to the pylon, Rocket Tubes to hold rockets in the launcher for transport and firing, Igniter Arms which provide electrical contact points for ignition of rockets, Skin which holds the tubes together in the launcher, and Umbilical Connectors that connect the remote fuzing Hydra 70 Rockets to the launcher. 20mm Munitions and 2.75in Rockets can be provided upon request. 4. The possibility of retraining flight and technical staff in the country of location: - Pilot Training: $250,000 per Pilot based on a group of 40 pilots to be trained. - Maintenance Personnel Training: $75,000 per person based on a group of 100 personnel to trained Training will be provided in the USA but can also be arranged in the country of your convenience, subject to the entrance of US personnel in the desired destination. We are able to supply simulator units at extra cost for training additional pilots on site. 5. The warranty conditions: Firstly, please note, as per the commercial offer, the Cobra's have been fully refurbished in 2019/2020 including full structural overhaul to offer 20+ years' service. The quoted price is net excluding warranty. We are able to offer a full range of support options: • A full 'warranty' can be provided. In view of the nature of the product and usage this would be complex and costly, which in our opinion would not be cost effective for the customer. • Custom support packages and training can be provided:
o Extended training to cover major repair and service by your own personnel, o Repatriation of units for repair by our technicians. This could include up to the repair of units suffering major damage in combat or other circumstances, o Onsite maintenance and repair (depending on access to the Ukraine by US personnel). o Assistance and support with long term storage of the product, including a maintenance schedule to ensure the product is operational once removed from storage. We understand that this is a technical and complex issue. We wish to reassure you that it is our upmost priority to be able to offer continued support and service for this product to your requirements. We advise that a custom support package would be the most advantageous in terms of cost and ensuring continued operation of the product. The ideal would be to move forward for the inspection of the product and at that point discuss together concerning the appropriate package to ensure you have full support for the product you wish to immediately deploy and the product you wish to reserve for later use. September 8th 2022 Commercial Offer for Bell AH-1F/S "Modernized" Cobra Helicopters We are honored to propose to the Armed Forces of Ukraine 17 units of the Bell Cobra AH-1F/S Modernized Attack Helicopter. This legendary aircraft needs no introduction, forming the core of the US Army's attack helicopter fleet, seeing combat in Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, and the Gulf War. Each of the 17 Helicopters offered have been fully overhauled and upgraded by Northrop Grumman extending service life by 20+ years and incorporating standard upgrades to AH-F1 specifications and complete modernization. Modernization of the AH-1F/S Northrop Grumman has significantly modified the helicopter to extend their life by at least 20 years. The aircraft has been completely rewired and reconditioned to ensure its quality and integrity. Meanwhile, as the avionics systems integrator for the helicopters, Northrop Grumman is overseeing the design and incorporation of the avionics solution. The aircraft avionics received a digital conversion via Northrop Grumman's Integrated Mission Equipment package (iMEP), which includes a commercially available Gen III mission computer, a full suite of LCD multifunction displays, an embedded software digital map and navigation controls. Scalable and fully integrated, the iMEP is based upon a modular, open architecture that supports rapid integration of third-party hardware and software. This flexible approach counters obsolescence and simplifies mission growth now and far into the future. The iMEP is also adding new and improved weapons capabilities to the helicopter, including advanced missiles, rockets and rotary cannon.
